My friend went into a carpet place , and the male secretary took her into a secluded area ( she thought he was going to show her samples ) and pulled his thing out at her and asked her '' what do you think about this ? '' . If she says something can the owners legally decide to not let her buy carpet from them ? Can she press charges if he is not fired ? This is disgusting and unacceptable !

I heard a saying that said "behind every b i t c h theres a man that made her that way" i left her in 2004 but i really didnt want to cuz i had to choose between her and this other girl and this made me wonder if i made her this way. Did i? but she told me that she's tired of the he said she said bullshit and shes moved on with my life and plus she dont make sense cuz she said to me that "im in the past" and you know that doesnt make sense cuz im not dead. I am a 30 year old, Professional Black Woman. Three weeks ago, my mother's 58 year old female friend needed help with a work assignment from her job, and it was causing her stress. So, I helped her for 4 days, free of charge. During the whole time while I helped her, I called her by her first name, "Anne"....After the 4 days was over, I called to ask her a question and I said "Hi Anne!", and she got Angry and said "FIRST OF ALL, MY NAME IS MRS JACKSON, I HAVE CHILDREN YOUR AGE, I'm MRS JACKSON TO YOU!"...I was shocked. I calmly told her that I apologize, but since I am 30 years old, I didn't think it was offensive. She said, "Well, thats just MY preference"....I decided that I no longer want to deal with her, and I told my mother that I'm no longer available to help her... But my Question is:
Do Black Women Over the age of 50 think its Disrespectful for Black Women my age to call them by the First Name??

I'm a tomboy ok? So my best guy friend, NOT boyfriend gave me a teddy bear with some chocolates on Valentines Day. To this day I still wonder if this is a sign of love, to be more than friends or he was being sweet. All we do when we hang out is the usual like play video games, hang out and talk, etc. So the question is, is this a sign of love?

I have a friend that buys me lots of stuff, and gives gifts a lot. Surprises. She likes to buy me lunch all the time to. If I try to pay for something she takes it as an insult. She will not let me pay for anything at all when we are together. She is really super nice, and we talk about lots of personal things together. I almost feel like she has feelings for me witch is fine, but I don't want to make the assumption. She may just be Super Duper nice. What do you guys think of this? How can I repay her for all her kindness?

I chat to this guy online, was introduced through a friend of mine, we have only seen pics of each other...talks to me everyday online (7 months now) and then one day i / he didnt open a conversation with me/ him (i didnt mind about this)...

and then suddenly he opened a convo saying "sorry, i didnt see you online so i didnt say hi, but how come YOU saw me online but you ignored me?"

i didnt think it was an issue

eventually i asked him "since when has it been compulsory to open a conversation with you ALL the time?" because thats what it felt like

and he replied "i only said that because you get into a hissy fit if i dont open one"...

so should i have gotten offended? because i wouldnt have minded at all if he didnt talk to me...i felt degraded after he said that!

It was HIM who was angry that I ignored him, not me....and then i got angry because he let off that it was ME who gets angry if i am ignored!

i had a friend i knew since i was in the fourth grade. we were close. where one was, the other was there. i loved her very much. five years ago, i noticed that weeks would pass by before i would hear from her. if i called her, i would get her answering machine. a few weeks turned to two months. i was worried. so called her parents thinking they may know what's wrong with her. she called me (on her time) and told me she's depressed and even thought about suicide. i told her to call me day or night. i'm always there. well, she disapeared again for another 4 months. went to her house and she looked awful. she had gotten worse. i gave her space and hadn' t heard from her for months. when i i was to get married, i couldn't get a hold of her. i tried so hard. after i got married i called her. (i was fed up at this point). she cried and said we're in different places in life and we needed to go our seperate ways. i haven't heard from her since. what should i do? leave it alone?

My friend's ex boyfriend always was on his phone and talking and text messaging to his friends. He was always in the mirror every time we passed by one. it was funny when we saw him do it. her ex boyfriend is straight. however he just tended to pay more attention to his phone and other people than her. why? when she figured they should break up he would ask why. he was always in her business. for example when they went somewhere and she got quiet for watever reason he would start asking questions wondering why she was quiet and such.

I've known this girl for 7 years.She's been my nieghbour for that amount of time. I've helped her out in many situations. Took care of her 3 kids when she needed to go somewhere..took them and picked them up from school when she's been too idle to walk with them..taken her shopping because she doesn't drive..was there for her when her dad recently passed away..was always there when she needed a shoulder to cry on because her now ex was verbally and mentally and sometimes phisically abusive towards her...the list goes on. We've fallen out in the past several times and it's always her that starts the arguements but always her that comes crawling back for forgiveness and so i 4give and forget. This time, altho the arguement is over but we're still not speaking, i've found out that she's been slagging.. not only me off behind my back but my 8yr old son too..and we were supposed to be friends at the time she was saying all this stuff. I don't think i can 4give her this time. What wud u do?

i knoe this girl from skool. we been friend for two month now. everytime when i m near her i have a special feeling that my other friend cant give me. we went to the mall on monday with one of her friend and we started watching movie but when we were inside the theathre all i can think bout was not the movie it was her. when she hold my hand i feel like butterfly was inside my stomach. i knoe her from one of her friend that i like. and i still like her friend a lot i dont knoe who i like more i m confuse.

I fallen in love verry quickly of one of my friends and...after 4 months i' ve lost my interest in him! It was such a beautifull relationship while it lasted,but after only tow months it felt like we were married for ten years!Now after we broke up, we stoped talking and i think that i destroyed my best frendship relation for nothing!
