My friend's ex boyfriend always was on his phone and talking and text messaging to his friends. He was always in the mirror every time we passed by one. it was funny when we saw him do it. her ex boyfriend is straight. however he just tended to pay more attention to his phone and other people than her. why? when she figured they should break up he would ask why. he was always in her business. for example when they went somewhere and she got quiet for watever reason he would start asking questions wondering why she was quiet and such.

Actually, out in my area, its the other way around.
I've seen girls actually push their boyfriends away to hear the gosip on the other end of that line.
Its stupid.
I myself own a cellphone but I turn it off to all calls and texmessaging any time I am around my boyfriend, as does he.
Its common curtosy you know?

I never figured that one out, some men can be worse then a woman. My man is like that to, bit**es about me calling his cell phone, just to waste his minutes, but he'll sit at home and uses all of his minutes up on his phone and our home phone will be sitting right next to him.??? It's a mystery to me.

have you not noticed that every one pays more attention to those damn phones. you can't even have a nice dinner any more talking at the dinner table still goes on but not with the family at the table.

Because girlfriends don't have a "vibrate" feature and all you have to do to shut up a cell phone is turn it off.
