My friend came to me and asked me to type and print her out a price list for a new business she's making. When I got all excited and asked her what kind of business it is, she said "my personal services". Me, being my confused self didn't understand and she finally said she was becoming a prostitute and needed a price list and business cards. She didn't want to hear a lecture, but I really don't want to see my friend go down like that. Should I stand back and let her make her own decisions, or what?

that she stinks, she needs to shave, she needs super strong dandruff shampoo, she needs to stop holding her daddy's hand to cross the street, and that she is going to get made fun of not stop if she doesn't do anything about her hygine. My ex-boyfrend and his fiancee, a woman I dated and was best friends with for two years, is getting married this August. The break-up with the man was about as horrible as any break-up ever could be. For about a year before the break-up, the three of us were a committed manage a trois, and we expected to live together in the future.The woman and I never really broke up, we still see each other every once in a while, but the romance is pretty much gone. We're still friends, though I tend to avoid her fiancee because he didn't take the break-up very well.

They sent me a wedding invitation this morning. I don't know what to think of it- if they sent me an invitation, does that mean they want me to go, or they want to be polite and fully expect me not to go? Do I look rude if I don't go? I don't know if I want to go, though most of my friends will be there, and I'd like to give the couple a gift and let them know I'm happy for them. I just don't know what the polite thing to do is.

the majority of my friends are guys and one of them acts really immature whenever i get a boyfriend. the guy i am dating now is friends with all my other guy friends, but one of them (we'll just call him *tom*) all of the sudden says he doesn't like the one i'm dating. he has no legitimate reason...is it just jealousy or what is his deal?

My "best friend" Kelly says that I have a drinking problem. She's been saying this for a couple of months now and i'm finally admitting it.
Now though she keeps asking me if I want to go out into town one night. I've said yes but I don't want to go to Zanzibar (the club we always end up in) becuase I'm trying to take it step by step with not drinking.
The problem is that she says that there is no way that she isn't going in there so I will have to not go. I feel really alone and like she is not prepared to help me in my hour of need.
What should I do? Stay friends with her or not?

uhh i had these two friends when i moved here and the year i moved they were really good friends but now the third year will almost start and there not really my friends anymore. He just turned 16 and since he was 15, he's had no desire to learn to drive, only play this game on his computer-- all day, all night. I have been good friends with someone for a long time, however everyone of his girlfriends gets so jealous of me.(Including the person he is with right now..they have 2 kids together) I'm not saying I have never been attracted to him but I think of him more as an older brother..and I know he thiknks of be as a little sis. Now, that I am 19 years old, I have friends that are my age and others of all ages. Recently, since I'm working now, I have guy friends that range from 28 to 35. We get along great. I like hanging out with them and I also have learned a lot from them. However, I am starting to feel more self- conscious when I hang out with my other friend who is 35. He is really attractive and looks really young, but I don't know why I fear that when he is older he will look older, start graying, and I feel like people my age will start to ask me why are u hanging out with middle-aged men. I feel like they are going to tell me that I should hang out with people around my own age? I know that it is not normal that I feel that way and I shouldnt care about what people think, but why am I feeling this way? Anyone can have friends of all ages, right?
