I have been good friends with someone for a long time, however everyone of his girlfriends gets so jealous of me.(Including the person he is with right now..they have 2 kids together) I'm not saying I have never been attracted to him but I think of him more as an older brother..and I know he thiknks of be as a little sis. Long story...I'm 28, he's 41. Granted, we are living in different coutnries right now but we still talk all the time and we come to each other for advice. Is jealousy warrented?

I can really relate to you on this one.My best friend is a male and his female friends cannot take it at all. The reason why they are so jealous is because they feel threatened by us, I think they are usually afraid of the closeness that their partner has with another female that is not them. Don't worry with in time she will get over it and if not hey, tough luck because girls, us female friends are here to stay. Good luck girl. (lol)

Women keep male "friends" for only one reason....as a back up lover for a rainy day. His girlfriends jealousy is well placed. Since she has kids with him she should make him get rid of you. Since they are not married, this says ALOT about him, her and quite frankly, you.
But hey, you probably would make entertaining guests on Jerry Springer.

There's a golden rule for jealousy..the more insecure someone is, the easier he/she will become jealous..... Unfortunately a lot of women are feeling insecure about their relationship, about their looks, about themselves...so they are easily jealous. i hope it wont affect the friendship too much. Good luck!

Because men are so vindictive, liars, cheaters, selfish, greedy, cunning and most of all they have no heart, their women usually feel insecure since they are afraid that they will fall prey to men's next victim of being dumped for a cheaper whore.

women constantly compare themselves to other women, who has more money, a better job, nicer materialistic items like a house, clothes, jewlery, car, better looking children blah blah blah, it's in our nature.
