you never really forget someone once you meet them.they are the source of your imagination.they'll stay in you(figuratively).even if you forget them,they'll never forget you.thats what i believe.

I like this question. I really do! I don't know. I would like to think they go in your mind in a little box with all the other imaginary friends that have been forgotten.

I recently heard someone say that imaginary friends from one's childhood was really ghosts that only kids can see until they are told not to believe in them.
That puts a new twist on things doesn't it?

I never had one but my younger brother had one that you could actually hear him talk to.Its eerie now when I think about that.
