When breaking up with someone are you honest about the reasons? Maybe tell them something they need to work on so that they don't make the same mistakes in future relationships? Or do you go for the nice, "it's not you, it's me" route?

I am not usally a mad person but right know I am. Some one told my science teacher my friends and I were cutters, so I had to get evaluated by the school shrink! She was all are you dipressed you can tell me if you are! I showed her my arms and walked out of the room. I AM NOT A CUTTER! Those idiot stareo typers!

My boyfriend and I has been together for 2 years. He's black, and I'm Asian (Vietnamese, to be exact). He's very sophisticated, educated, and smart, and he has a good job. But I can't get my parents to like him. They don't like him just because he's black. I'm going to school and don't live with my parents. Everytime I tell my parents some things about my boyfriend, they get mad and say they're disappointed at me. As a result, I have to keep my boyfriend in the shade. His family, on the other hand, loves me. He's been talking about marriage. But I just can't get my family to like him, no matter how much I try to explain. They're really distant when they meet him (partially because they can't speak English well). I'm so sad. He's the love of my life. What should I do?

we have been seperated for 2 months. He left because he wanted time ot think if he really wanted to be with me. We have been married for 5 years. He says its my fault why he left since we only had sex about 1 time a week. After he left I found out that he had met another woman. I forgave him and still was begging him and crying to him so that he would come home. He did not. He preferred to be on his own and party. Basiclly he wanted no responsabilities. I left him on eof our cars so he can go to work. Well one day I got upset with him and went to pick up my truck , he came out and had a hickey on his neck. I still was going to forgive him, because I loved him so much. I found out who this person was and confronted him about her.. Then he stated that he ws not going ot see her anymore so he changed his phone number. It has been 3 weeks since then . I no longer cry or beg him to come back. I think he finally realized that Im ready to move on without him. Last weekend he did not go out

Well, first off, I have a boyfriend, but I think I might be a-liking this other guy. We have two classes together and sits by me in both. We talk A LOT, sometimes I'll catch him looking at me, but not that often. He asks me tons of questions about our biology stuff and yeah...that's about it. He could just be wanting to be a friend, but everytime my boyfriend is around, he gets all quiet and doesn't say anything. What do you think?

My fiance and I have been living together for 8 years. My fiance's father had some problems with his wife, she is an alcohloic and can't keep a job. We live in a duplex and when the duplex next door bacame availible my fiance's father and family moved in, but it elimitated 2 children, one move in with a friend and the other ended up movining in with my fiance and I. My fiance's brother has been living with us for over 6 months and has only paid 200 dollars. Meanwhile we are struggling with the bill increase. I now work 2 jods and my fiance has one demanding manager job. I 've asked my fiance to talk to his brother about paying something and doing his share around the house. He also has no car so we end up picking him up from work and he never offers gas money. I want to be fair about things but he only makes minimum wadge. I thought 1/3 of all house bills is fair but that would put him at a little over 300 and he makes about 500 a month. is that being fair? any advice?

i found out this girl likes me
-she asks me out
-she kindof avoids me and wont talk to me
-a week after asking me out she hugs me when i dont expect it
-a half hour after she hugs me she says she likes me but she dosent know much about me so she dosent want to go out untill she gets to know me more
-than 3 weeks after that she sat next to me at lunch and ignored me but talked to all of her friends and then she said she has a goat, i couldent stop myself from laughing and she got mad at me and punched me. i dident mean to offend her but i guess she took it the wrong way. i mean it was just kindof random that she said that.
-the day after that she comes in to the lunch room w/ my best friend. one of my other friends asked them if they were going out they said yes. the funny thing is it dident bug me that much. i started thinkin "why my best friend and sense when was he ever serious iv never seen him be serious"

Here's the Thing;; My mom and dad are divorsed. Me and my mom just got back from going on a cruise. So i ususally see my dad on tuesdays and sundays.But my dad wanted to take me on wenasday. But all out of no where my mom starts to get all weird about all this. She won't let my dad see me, unless its on tuesday, thursday, or sunday. And so now i can't see him all week. And best of all my mom won't let me see my dad untill he goes to court now. I WANT TO SEE MY DAD. DOESNT SHE CARE ABOUT HOW I FEEL? Then she won't even let me talk to my dad. She wants to take my phone. i will not let her but i have to keep it off and not answer when my dad calls.
Im very sad. My dad is important. . . I don't want him to go away... [as in i won't talk to him anymore, not jail . . or dead [hes a cop]] Anyways.. I just don't know what to do.

And i also need some help cheering help.

I am not really happy in my marriage. My husband is very loud and obnoxous. He likes to intimdate everyone that comes into our home. He wants to feel like he owns everything. He is always mad, he yells before he discusses.

He goes to work and comes home to watche tv or go on the computer. then he has dinner and goes to sleep.

He never wants to go anywhere or do anything.

I am really tired of just exhisting in my life and want to start enjoying myself again. I am in my 40's so I know there is not much out there for me anymore.

We own a home together and we pretty much live from paycheck to paycheck.

I have 2 dogs and 3 cats which doesn't make it easy to just pick up and move.

If anyone has been in this situation and can give me advice on leaving by buying a home, selling the one I have with him and hopefully living happily ever after please answer

Over a yr ago my two sons,who live in different states from me and each other, had terrible arguments, over the course of several wks, by telephone and email, and said some really, really horrible and hurtful things to each other. (they are 35 & 45) I have attempted to remain as neutral as possible and just continue letting them know how much I love them and am sorry they are hurt and incourage them to talk it out. My older son refuses to talk to the younger one, even though he has called and emailed several times. The younger son plans on going to his brother's home or job and seeing him, in a nonconfrontational but caring, loving way, to try to get him to face their problems and attempt to work them out. My older son doesn't know this and has told me in the past that he is just still too hurt and angry to discuss it at all w/his brother. Do you think it's a good idea for my younger son to go see him anyway and try to force the issue so they can hopefully be close again? Thank you

Heres the story- 3 years ago I met the love of my life. I was never jealous before I met him and because he cheated the one time, I can't get over being jealous.

When I met him, he had this thing for this girl he had known for years, but she always dicked him around. When we met, we became friends instantly and then started dating. Before we started dating, she would always ask us both questions about our relationship.

2 months into our relationship, she called him and told him about some band she had tickets to. He loves the band and probably wouldn't have another chance to see them in our area. So I let him go. He called me to tell me nothing happened and it was fine.
The next day he calls to say he did make out with her, but that's all. My mind still wonders if more happened. I know making out isn't a big deal, but I rather he just had sex with her, kissing is such a personal thing. He told me it was "closure" but they never had an acutal relationship to close.....Any Advice?

For some reason, I hate it when he says even the slightest thing about his old partners. He doesn't do it on purpose and its never anything major.

I just think, what if he liked them more than me - and he's settling for me because they broke up with him.

I've never loved anyone before (never found anyone I even really liked enough) But he's been in long term relationships and has loved other people.

Does anyone else think as stupidly as I do?

so right after i got dumped the guy's best friend starts to like me.. but i didn't want a rebound because i didn't want to hurt someone like i'd been hurt, so i basically crushed him. but then i realized after a few months and getting over my heart break, that i actually Had started to develop feelings for him. so we went on a Date and i had an amazingly good time. but then like a week later we were going to go on our 2nd date, but he intentionally blew me off, because when i asked him if we were still going he said: i don't think it's going to work out, i don't know what happened, but i don't like you like that i like someone else. so then i was the one to get crushed again (both guys played me) and but Now like a couple days after this whole blowing me off - he starts talking to me just like he used to.. and texting me again. i don't know Why he is making it Worse.. he's already done enough damage, he's said he's moved on so why doesn't he act like it.. why is he doing this..??

Im in the 8th grade and my boyfriend and i have ben together since the end on 7th grade. At the first school dance we had together we slow danced. The next time, more slow dancing, and the third time we freaked for the first time. At the last dance we freaked again and suddenly he put his hands on my butt. It surprised me but i let him because we were having such a good time. As we kept dancing, he got crazier and started to slowly touch me all over.
