I have a male friend that is 15yrs older then me. I am a 42yr professional working women and he is a 57yr businessman. I am starting to think he just looks at me as a kid with a big crush. Every time I bring up commitment questions he avoids them. We have a lot in common that we both talk about all time. This friend has been very supportive in many areas in my life so I know he cares about me and have fell in love with him for just that reason. But, it hurts when he keeps avoiding the questions about moving to the next level. We have been friends for almost 2yrs talking just about everyday. Should I play the not interested game and avoid him or take it for what it is that he only see me as a friend in nothing more and move on?

ok this is the first time that ive felt like this before and i have been in many relationships before but this one was different. well i was together with this guy named Brian for about 3 months and then he broke up with me on the last day of school but he said he still really liked me and i told him i still liked him too a lot! but it just happend. well he told me maybe we could get back together when school starts again so i waitied and suffered all summer! and now school has started again and ive asked about getting back together and he is like well i have dated you before and you are very dateable but idk since i am a senior and all this year i dont know if id have enought time to be as committed as i would like to a girl such as yourself with everything ill be doing so i guess whatever happens, happens...we'll just play it by ear. and Brian isnt the kinda guy who just wants to mess around with many girls, i was his first REAL relationship. but i cant stop thinking about him!! help

My exBoyfriend kept hanging out with me as friends while I was still helping him with chores/errands he asked me to do.
When he got a new girlfriend and then got very serious with her I explained to him that I couldnt keep doing chores and stuff I did when we were dating or he was single.
He whined and tried to guilt me to help him put I put my foot down and haven't been his unpaid servant anymore.
This week he told me he is getting engaged because his girlfriend's biological clock is going nuts and she is now thinking about babies 24/7 (she's almost 37)
He said that he isnt getting any younger either so he's going to settle down.
He told me that I should move on and should go move out of this town and have a fresh start.
He knows I just signed a contract to buy a new condo in town & now he's trying to talk me out of it.
For years he would protest me moving anywhere and now he is suggesting towns 50 miles away.
Is he just trying to get rid of me ?
