I'm going to a friend's wedding tomorrow and I am really going to be pushing it with the time due to an unforseen and unavoidable work commitment.

The ceremony is at 2.30pm, followed by the reception at 4.30pm

My question is this:

What will be the general opinion if I turn up to the ceremony (church) in my work clothes (tailored pants and smartish top - more on the casual side for Saturday duties), then duck home and get glammed up and return to the reception in appropriate attire.

I don't want to look like I didn't make the effort for the ceremony, but I don't want to go to work in a cocktail outfit!

Will my idea work, or will it look like a social faux pas?

I still love him and have children to think about. I am willing to try and work this out. But the negative is so much he cheated with 4 people one was an ongoing relationship. All the womwen new he was married. Why is it they don't care that they are ruining someones family. He has been drug free for six months I think the sobriety is what made him feel guilty enough to tell me. He could have gotten away with it but he told me. I am not sure if i will ever be able to trust him again and beng intamate I am unsure how i feel about that, it is supposed to be something only we shared and now it isn't. What do I do?

I've heard this comment a few times on various trips I take with my long-time girlfriend of 5 years. From the title you can imagine, I am a white male and she is a chinese female.

What is societies view on yellow fever? Is this a growing conern for people of either backgrounds? Is this just a result of increasing interaction of peoples in N.A.? Or is this truly some sort of trend that some people take pleasure in playing with?

What do you do when you know you love someone a lot but you know the person is not right for you, your life became worse with big problems in marriage, all of your family member thinks it's better off to be alone and meet someone else, and also when I ask stranger, most people tell me it's better off ending the relationship. I am a very forgivable person. I love him but I know it should end. What do you do? I am separated and all I have to do is ask for divorce. But yet, I don't know if I am making the right choice. I've dated a girl for exactely 2 years. She's from Canada and I'm from Brazil. We lived together when I was in Canada for a year even, and than I had to come back to Brazil to finish university, but I'd be done in a year and a half. But in the meantime we both agreed that we'd be still together and not see anyone else, and I'd also go to Canada to visit whenever I could.
So I was going to Canada, after we've been apart for about a year. But we still talked almost everyday on msn, emails, skype and phone. I had my plane ticket and everything, than she emailed me breaking up and telling me not to go to canada and wanted to be friends.
She didn't behave like a friend. She didn't talk to me on msn or emails at all.
Now, after 4 month she wants to get back together, but she said that she went out with a guy for a month and he didn't like her... but she loves me, and want to get married and everything. But I think it's hard to get over the fact that she slept with another guy. What do I do??

I am a stay at home mother married for almost two years. I have two young children, the eldest from a previous marriage. I have the ability the experience and education to work, I have previously worked in the medical field but I want to start my own business and spend time with my children. I was financially independent until I had my youngest who is now 18 months old shortly after getting married, I left my job and apartment and moved in with my husband in a new city. My husband works full-time and I am un-employed/ full-time pre-med biology student. I always dreamed of starting my own entertaiment business, I have been taking the steps towards starting it but my husband wants me to work. Should I put my dreams to the side and work? Is it possible to work full-time/ part-time, attend college and spend time with my children and get my business off the ground? Who can I trust with my children after a family friend has tried to molest my daughter? Please I am confused what should I do?

I just recently moved to GA from FL, before I moved I talked to my exhusband and made sure he was okay with me taking our two boys who are 6 and 7 to Ga which is about 5 hours from where he lives in FL, he said it would be okay and we made visitation arrangements and everything. He even signed a paper saying it was okay, now all of the sudden he is giving me a hard time, I haven't done anything to make him think I will keep him from the boys or anything, I have followed the terms we agreed on and everything. I am wondering if a judge would make me move back now even though the boys are in school here now and all of us are doing well here.
