my best friend who's 14 has been "dating" a boy that lives near us for over a year now. she says that she really loves him and that they're getting married. i mean, i have to admit it: most teens our age don't even stay together for more than 2 weeks. i couldn't be happier for my friend. after all, it is her first boyfriend (yea!) BUT i mean we're really young and we have all the time in the world to think about marriage. do you think they will eventually break up or do you think they could possibly stay together. have you ever heard of a couple who's been together since they were 14?

He wont express himself unless pushed to speak. He is angry with me and remembers everything that happened 5 years ago till now and brings it up now. He says he cant take our marraige anymore. From what I know, he is upset abt his career and is also upset abt how our marriage turned out. Our marriage is not much different from other marriages. We have our ups and downs. I expect, he expects and we havent been delivering all or most of the time. I'm ready to do what he wants me to do, I know what I need to do. But he is not in the frame of mind to accept me nw. He says he is unhappy and has to find it first. He says he talks or meets people only if it is his need. I am going crazy. Some days I am calmer and some days I'm not. But I am waiting for things to get better for him.

So I was wondering... Tell what you think of this: I care for this girl so much and so romantically that I decided to take her randomly out onto this dusty backroad. I pulled off to the side and put on "Far Away" by Nickelback and I said..."I want to dance with you, right here right now." And we did...moon was just coming up. It was awesome. appreciate your honest answer (based on a question asked by another). Say you have a 17 year old who's a great kid, lots of friends, good grade, high expectations in life....but he also likes to have fun with his friends and sometimes there are parties. No ALL the time. Ok, so your son asks you if he can go to a person's home - that there will be alcohol but parents w/b there taking keys and they spend the night and are watched carefully. On the other hand, if you say no, being 17 and they do go out - he may go someplace else with no supervision, keys in pocket and drink anyway. Of course, you won't know this part (drinking) of the story until he's attempted to drive home and gotten in an accident because they haven't learned how much is too much. No one there to stop them. Which scenerio would you prefer? I would prefer the 1st. I want my child alive.
