Stare back but without breaking the stare. Always out stare someone. It will stop them. That way if it happens more than once you can walk up to them and say "Can I help you"

Dress has a lot to do with it skin tight clothing invites staring. Also odd clothing is just as effective in getting looks as is usual behavior. Also you could wear sunglasses that way people do not know what you are looking at therefore are less likely to stare at you.

Think of any reasons that they may be staring, then evaluate if it is worth it. If it is something that you cannot change, ask them if they would like to know about what they are staring at.

well not a difficult question to answer, but depends on the situation..... i'm a gay woman and if i was on the beach and a woman was staring at me... i'd flash a little.... if you see what i mean.... maybe exchange numbers..... if i was in a bar with my g/f and a guy kept looking and didn't accept no as an answer, i guess i'd just give the clown a slap.

this is the situation, when they look at me no matter where i am i just start asking out loud not directed to anyone why do people just STARE AT U LIKE THEY DONT KNOW ANY BETTER???? then they usually stop!!!
