I was just wondering how do you get past a family who thinks you should wait to get married because of a bad relationship history? My bf and I have been dating 4 months and We've known each other for about 7 months. However, since our first date I have felt like I have never before and he is the type of person who inspires me to grow in positive ways and we really feel like we are meant for each other. It was never "oh I kinda like him or I can kinda see myself with him." It was I CAN see myself with him for the rest of my life. Would you marry because you two love each other and thats what counts? Should it matter what family thinks? Not everyone feels this way but I dont want people to not accept us should we decide to marry.

My ex hasnt talked to me in about a month now, which is all great, but i was recently told that he wanted to come and visit me at work. He even explained to this person that his ex worked there. I was wondering why on earth he may do that? Why would he want to go to my work even though he hasnt spoken to me in forever?

I've been asked to be the best man in my friend's wedding. I just received their invitation to the wedding and it was only addressed to me and says that I have one seat at the wedding. That means my girlfriend of 2 1/2 years was not invited. What the heck? I called the bride and groom and they told me their rule is that if their friends are either not married or engaged to their significant other they will not be able to bring them. This seems weird because 1) they are having about 200 people at the wedding and 2) I'm the best man. What's the protocol here. Please advise! Thanks!

he was in a hospital in new orleans, louisiana and he was supposed to get his leg fixed because he was crippled and i was at my aunts house then that night we got a phone call from the hospital saying that he had quit breathing and the next morning we got another phone call saying that he had died late that night.whats weird is that i had a dream that someone was gonna die but ihad no idea who it was.is this just a sign that i should appreciate what i have while i have it?

We have been together for over 1 and a half years. He's never cheated on me and I've never cheated on him. We are very much in love and we want to spend the rest of our lives together. I'll be a junior in high school next year and he'll be a freshman in college. So I have 2 more years left until we can move together. well when i was in the second grade a long time ago i had a best friend named Josh. We did everything together like bonnie and clyde. You couldn't seperate us for nothing. Then about 3 years later i had to move away. Then he moved and we lost contact for about 7 years. Now were in the 11th grade and both 17.
