The UK judge ruled that the Al Gore's movie "Inconvenient Truth" had nine errors. Actually, the judge did not look at the science but the UK government did not attempt to defend nine of the statements. Another study has just been released claiming the movie had 35 errors or exaggerations. If all of these errors were removed, what are the scariest predictions left?

Greenhouses work because the solar radiation is absorbed by opaque objects (or the ground) inside the glass, and the warm air comming off the warm objects can't rise past the roof. Presumably if a greenhouse were tall enough, it wouldn't get warm inside.

Doesn't the global warming theory say that carbondioxide has a higher opacity than the oxygen it displaces, and will absorb radiation given off by the sun and the earth.

Is CO2 supposedly more like a dust cloud than a pane of glass?

i think we (humans) have contributed a little (maybe 2-5%) to global warming. if you look at earths history (from what we know) you will find several periods of global warming and global freezing (ice ages). i believe that global warming and freezing is just one of earths natural cycles. although i also believe that we strongly contributed to the decay of the ozone layer.

what are your thoughts on global warming?

Is it even as we see it? Is it induced by man? Is is a cyclical event( does this happen every 2000 years or so when the earth and other planets in our solar system come into polar alignment) ?? if it is real can it really be fixed or are we fooling ourselves? Elaborate as much as possible?

GLOBAL WARMING, THATS WHAT !!!. Humans didn`t have cause it then, so why the uproar now. Are we causing some, sure, but the earth never stops evolving and changing. Around the turn of the early 1900`s they were saying global warning then. Just like the year 1000, people then thought the world was coming to the end. Same with 2000, get a grip, cause a panic over learing more something before you say " the sky is falling"
