If people who are against pollution are called tree-huggers, should people who are for pollution be called "smog-huggers"?

How about smogmongers?

EnviroDude, an awful lot of folks drive gas hogs, knowing that they are gas hogs. I believe that old expression that if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

You are assuming there are people that are for smog.

I, for one, do not know anybody that is for smog.

Yet, there are tree huggers that get in the way of development and inhibit abatement and remediation of contaminated groundwater, installation of pollution abatement equipment, etc... So, by the acts of their lives and the legislation they support, they could be considered smog huggers.
