Because you have to pay them up front, they cancel shows, change the times, show darts or football on both sides, etc etc.

If they had to find the money another way like the independent channels I bet they wouldn't keep mucking about with the shedual.
I'm forever missing the end of something I've taped because it started later than advertised. Or there's cricket on instead of my usual program. Or some series I've watched has abruptly ceased, then I find the last episode was screened on a different day!!

Can't something be done about the BBC?

I think that there's bitching and some bullying but not racism. I've heard this morning that Jermaine Jackson called Jades mum "White Trash" How many complaints did that muster I wonder? Also Jodie Marsh was bullied very badly last year and how many complaints did that attract? I think the PC UK needs a kick up the rear end and quick!

our tv screens. How degrading and humuliating is it. I watched it last night for the first time and I will not be watching again. I was appalled at what I saw. Surely if we all stopped watching it, the makers would get the message. What do you think about this programme.

And no it is not just a laugh in case some think that it is.

My wife made me sit through The Madness of Modern Familes last night (BBC2) and I hope that the selfish, self-centred, egotistical, generally hard-of-thinking parents represented are not considered Modern Families.

I think I'm a modern parent and couldn't ever act in such a disturbing way to having a party or entertaining children - I almost think this shows some people don't deserve to be blessed by children.

Last night, very late (technically this morning), I was watching television. All of a sudden this woman popped up in the bottom right hand corner of the screen and started waving and gesticulating wildly at me whilst mouthing words that I couldn't quite make out. Send Channel 4 an e-mail to say you won't watch CBB until they disqualify those bullying chavs, and pull them off the show.
From what I've seen on Q&A this morning 99% of people are appalled by them, and want them gone.

Does any one remember a comedy sitcom back in the seventies with an actor called Arthur Haines. He has a moustache and wears a trilby hat. The sitcom was about 2 tramps i think a little irish guy and Arthur sorry don't know any more than that. Just need to know the name of the show cos it's driving me mad trying to remember.
