It was on either BBC or ITV in the early or mid 90s.

Her name was Tallulah Bag in full! Her sister was Tabitha Bag and she took over for a few series.

Each series had a different name - I remember T-Bag Strikes again and T-Bag bounces back.

Thre was a childrens show on ITV called T-bag and another called Grotbag, both were very good, T-bag (the lady who plays Diane in Emmerdale) could spy upon the leading character (a young boy tobegin with via the tea leaves in her cup if I remember correctly, it was so long ago I can't remember the full details but I know there was a boy who had several adventures and then later the leading child became a girl) Grotbag was a witch in another show similar to Emu who had a green face etc and the lady who plays her now does pantomime, its easy to get the two shows confused!

If I am not mistaken, the series was actually called "The Queen's Nose". Although far too old to be watching such stuff, I recall that an episode or two were filmed at and around a school that I used to work at in West Kensington, London. The school's playground was used as the base for the film crew while some of the scene's were filmed in the schol hall. The "Queen" in question was played by Georgina Hale.

Hope this helps.

I think it was actually called Tbag wasn't it???

Elisabeth Estensen from the Liver Birds played the witch with a tea fetish, Talula Bag, who lived in a strange teapot in an antique shop, wanted to get all powerful, take over world etc. Reluctant side-kick was a blonde kid, John Hasler called T-Shirt who always came good in the final episode. Each series a girl would come into the shop and (somehow?!) be transported into the strange world inside said teapot. One there she would be sent on a mission to collects various objects (numbers from clock face, silvers spoons, crystals etc) from different (sometimes historical) locations in order to stop the dreaded T-Bag. The bloody kids always won in the end of course, and Ms Bag was sent away somewhere to face "punishment" at the end of each series. By the end of the fourth series "Talula" Bag was utterly destroyed.

It's not the one with Rod Hull - that was the Pink Windmill and the witch was Grotbags. T-Bag was on ITV and was also about a witch, a tea drinking one, T-Shirt makes her tea for her I think. Here is a link I found:

Wow! You have plucked a far and distant memory from my brain! I used to watch it after school and I’m sure I enjoyed it even though I knew it was a little naff and the lil guy T-Shirt was largely irritating. It was called ‘T Bag and the Pearls of Wisdom’. Check the link below; it has an episode guide and best of all character profiles with pictures to really jog your memory :)

Yes! I do! I do! I do!

Oh man! You've got me racking my brain so damn hard!

It was on the ABC here in Australia, so it probably was a BBC production. I remember the kids had an English accent too.

I used to watch it every day, I'm pretty sure it was an afternoon show.

Also, I'm pretty sure I was watching it mid to late eighties, so it might be older than you think.

Hope this helps and if you find out can you please email me via Yahoo Answers as I'd love to know, now that you've gone and made my brain fry and all!

No. there have been one or 2 transgendered species, one fairly I keep in mind became Dax on Deep area 9 whose species the Trill became parasitic and can want to inhabit a woman or male host. In a Trill visual appeal on next technology, Beverly Crusher experience in love with the male host and can want to no longer manage a similar thoughts for the recent lady host. there is oodles of cut back fan fiction handling gay characters or gay relationships between the major characters. apparently, maximum cut back fiction is written by women folk, so i'm no longer positive why homosexuality is so time-commemorated.
