This situation reminds me when Grace didn't like Suzie in BB this year and gave her a hard time, it was unpleasant but both girls were white so racialism never came into it. Sometimes people just don't like each other regardless. Bullying is a different matter.
Have people forgotten Jade is black all the more reason that its unlikely that she is racist.

They just aren't getting along together. Some people are just downright nasty. They all should be making an effort to get along quietly whilst in such unnatural circumstances. Shilbah seems to be coping very well with it all. She is a strong character, and deserves to do well. Too many people today are quick to jump on the racist/bullying bandwagon.
Shilbah has a very good vocabulary and comman of the English language, whereas Jade, Danielle and Jo, do not. Shilbah stands head and shoulders above them. Those three share one brain cell.

i havent been watching too much of it but still have an opinion.
I think its more bullying and being petty. If she was white and had an accent they would probably still take the mic and make nasty comments. The people involved seem to be rather unintelligent, rude and probably bored. They may not even know what they are doing.
It could be slightly racist (apart from the possible camment refereing to her origin) as they are also making comments about her customs as they are not used to it and it is slightly different from the norm.
It is all just a bit of a ridiculous situation with very different people being forced together and not getting on. I think the nastier members of the house are going to get enough stick offf the public it doesnt need further involvement unless they do get more specific and racist...which i truely hope doesnt happen!!!

The racism on Big Brother is simply because of Jade, Danielle and Jo's ignorance. This is the worse kind of racism as it can be solved through education which is what these three are lacking.
I felt sorry for Jade when she was first on Big Brother and she got picked on off that wannabe Kate Lawler and made of fool of because it was obvious she was a bit daft and a bit uneducated.
This is because instead of going to school she spent a lot of her youth looking after her mother after a motorcycle crash. Its still no excuse for being racist.

I think its a bit of all of these but jealousy is also a factor. Shilpa is attractive and is in her own right a celebrity and film star. The egos of these other three cant accept that.
It is not nice to see people distressed and upset in the name of entertainment. If this were televised hare coursing, bear baiting, dog fighting etc there would be uproar but in this case money is the driver and Channel 4 are afraid of losing advertising sponsership. I am not a great devotee of Political Correctness but this is not good TV and the whole programme should be pulled off air now.

I think it's ignorance creating bullying/racism/dislike - take you pick.
The three so-called bullies don't appear able of reasonable discourse, or have the ability to understand anyone else - this ignorance makes them afraid of something they can't get to terms with. In Jade's case it appears she inherited her racist views from her mother.

Its nothing - a storm in a teacup. Shilpa went into the house and for whatever reason she chose to isolate herself from the other girls. The space they are in is small - they dont get along and Shilpa doesnt help by crying, or hogging the shower or blocking the toilet or forcing the others to eat according to her regime. It needs both parties to give a little and it would be fine. Jermaine needs to stop referring to the colour of Shilpas skin - that isnt helping and is fuelling the racism fire xxxxxxxxxxx

Are you are implying that white people are more likely to be racist than other ethnic groups? that's a bit racist isn't it?
