I'm not sure if I actually am, but one day my voice will be great and then the next I'll have a stuffy nose and it feels like I'm singing through my nose. I know to sing from my diaphram but it still sounds nasily. Is there any advice on how to sing when your nose is stuffy? Lol

her and letting her listen to it isn't an option? Ok, my little sister loves to sing and she wants to be in the talent show at her school, but she can't sing! She has the potental to be a good singer, but she can't keep a tune! For years I've put up with her atrocious singing, but I can't let her ruin her life! I am currently a sophomore in high school, and I'm starting to think about college so that I can effectively plan for the rest of my high school career, but I honestly have no idea where to start.

I'm extremely interested in classical (opera) singing; I have been taking lessons for a few years and have done a lot of shows with my local opera company (Opera Pacific). I am seriously considering a career in classical voice, but I'm still young: I'd like to keep other options open.

I also have very high academic standards, so basically my question is this: What are some good schools that combine academics and singing? Once I decide on a school, how should I go about deciding what to major in, etc? This whole process kind of intimidates me :)

I know it sounds stupid. Just dont put anything like "Well then Stop breathing" or anything like that. So anyways, when I sing i notice I go breath alot and it was loud. I tried to hold it longer then breath really soft but I'm not use to it. I dont want me to go "ha" every 5-8 seconds. Is ther like a trick. I know it seems a bit impossible. But i want to do a vocal exercise maybe to learn something that can help that.

Well, Im thinking of auditioning for this christmas in the park show & im going solo on singing but the worst thing is my shyness.I have a really great voice which I want to share but it gets quite hard for me to sing in front of a huge crowd.Sometimes when I have a little bit of energy I can sing ing front a crowd of people but then my voice goes all different.Kind like when ur cold u have that different time of wiggley voice.
