In the middle east there are speakers throughout the town. during prayer time they have music and a guy saying "ahhhhhhhhhhhh" chanting. What is this song called or music called?

that is not a music its called "Azan" or "Adan", its the prayer, the guy is saying Alahhhh o akbar.
this prayer is said 5 times a day in the mosque, by the "moazen" (the guy who sings it), and is an indicator that it is the time to pray.

They Say: Allah Huwakbar
It Is The Athan, they do it for prayer times so people of islam know to go to the mosque and pray the sulat (prayer)

from what I can gather, it is like the preacher ( in islamic culture, the cleric I think they are called) leading you in prayer. I don't know if it has a specific name, if this is something that truely interests you contact a local islamic community or mosque
