It's a high, you are so scared when you first step onto that stage, but you take a deep breath, and sing. At first you may faulter, but you know the audience is cheering you on, and you sing your heart out. Then at the end when you recieve the applause its the best feeling int he world ever.

I am 46yrs old.Only recently have I started singing in public. One night whilst out on the town I did it for a dare.Karokee.I cannot describe the particular thing about it is but it is exhilarating and I think everyone should try it.I think the key to this is knowing what you can sing and do not sing something too difficult.

singing's the best because you have ur own voice
And you can compare with other voices and pair with them to make a greater sound :)
i'm self-teaching myself.. but i've been in choir for like 2 yrs and my dad's a big singing music type so i have lots of knowledge.. but no voice lessons.. :) too busy!!
