I'm sick of hearing the same song on the radio half a billion times, so a band that not many people know about would be nice.

OK, here in the UK we have a show called "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here" that comes on once a year [i think].
Celebrities have to live in a jungle for two weeks, live in terrible condition surrounded by rats and insects, and do disgusting/scary tasks to get food for the camp.

[Johnny Rotten was actually on it a while ago]

If there was a version of this show strictly for rockstars, who would you like to see on it, and why?

When I watch my favourite vintage music vids - I am reminded how drastically different things were (music, image, mentality etc.)...

So, I'm very curious...

*Does the newer generation get a culture shock if they (happen to) see those old vids?

*Like, wouldn't they wonder about things like:
Why are there only guys in this vid; why is that girl band playing music and not dancing; why did female hip-hoppers wear track suits; why was there much less physical interaction, etc, etc?

I'm not here to preach, but to know. Peace to the 'new-school' music video makers too.

K-Tel was a company that began in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada back in the late 60's by my former boss Philip Kives. Phil eventually ventured into other areas such as cook-ware, and household products. He eventually hired American 'Ron Popeil', who developed such wonders as the 'Veg-O- matic', and the 'Feather Touch Knife', along with various dicing and slicing contraptions, and quite possibly some groovy fishing devices!
But for me they were best known for their cheap vinyl LP's, and small paychecks.
What are some of your K-Tel record memories?

I mean these guys are pretty old. I'm surprised they can still get around without a nurse, and they haven't had a real hit song in ages. They should be called: "The Rolling Bones".
I'm sure they have enough money to retire on by now. So when are they going to hang it up?

My example: Radiohead. Their more recent work has been MUCH better (at least in my opinion) than Pablo Honey

Your example?
