I'd go and see Mani Dj because Ian Brown always does some Stone Roses stuff in his set (usually starts with I wanna be Adored) and after seeing the real thing the comparison might not be too favourable. Have a good gig!

I'd probably see the tribute band. It's unlikely we will ever see the Stone Roses play live again so a tribute band would be a pleasant alternative. Mani could potentially play **** all night, at least you know the tribute band will play good music.

The Stone Roses were great, so if the tribute band has a good reputation then you have to go and see it so you can listen to: Fools Gold/I Wanna Be Adored/Made of Stone/Sally Cinnamon/Waterfall/I Am the Resurrection, and countless others! Great Stuff!

Tribute band - especially if it's The Complete Stone Roses, seen them over 10 times, absolutely brilliant. DJing? Na.
