so this is what i know:
that like gerard and bert used to be good friends or w/e
and the bands were friends
they went on tours and stuff
the whole under pressure thing
that gee and bert made out and crap
but now i guess in 2005 the stoped being friends?
and like bert made a song sbout him or something?

so yeah

Who doesnt know Bad to the Bone? For more than 30 years Gearge and the Deleware Destroyers have been rocking arenas, theatres and bars all around the world. One of the best live shows ever put on still to this day. Just in Kansas City 2 weeks ago and blew the roof off the joint. Should he be nominated for the Hall of Fame?

Is it me or doesn't it seem that the 90's had so much talent that we should still be getting some great albums today? I am just disappointed with the latest stuff from NIN, Korn, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, among many others. And some of the start-up bands that showed some promise in the late 90's have just fell off. Chilipeppers seem to be the only band to stick to their guns and continue putting out good music. To some of us, the music is what makes up our life. New bands today have no blues in their rock so it just sounds like a bunch of synthesized yelling over every chord they know. How do we get back to the bliss of turning on the radio to find a new song that has meaning and substance. There are some good bands out don't get me wrong. But Im talking about packing stadiums full kinda good. GnR was a huge disappointment followed Nirvana, are we numb from being torn from these attachments? Can we sue Axl or Grohl for this?

Let me start off by saying this is a real question, i'm not trying to make drama or anything of that matter. But more importantly trying to get some honest answers. I myself am a 21 year African American male, and I am very big on rock. I will admit I haven't always been, up until probably 16-17, when I started attending with what I'd describe as predominately an all white high school. Anyways i also like hip-hop naturally but its something about rock that makes me feel free and on another planet. But it seems like its forbidden for us black males. None of my friends can relate and make me feel like its wrong for me to like what i like. Which is neither here or there i'm still going to continue to be me, but i just wanted some others perspective on the matter. Thanks
