I think if Steve Perry was not with them they would have never made it.

I'm a huge Journey fan and I think you're probably right. Bad English had Neal Schon on guitar and John Cain on keyboards with John Waite singing lead, and they were basically a one-hit wonder. Gregg Rolie was a decent singer but he was no Steve Perry. Steve's voice is really Journey's signature sound -- once you hear him, you know you're listening to Journey.

Journey love them I refust to see journey with Steve perry of course he was the main part of the group without him they're nothing

You're right about Steve Perry, but it's true for most bands. If the lead singer of a band quits, then it fundamentally changes the sound. Probably not for the better.

Yes, I LOVE Journey. As a matter of fact, I love them so much I walk 3 or 4 miles on my treadmill listening to them. Although I like all of them, I'd have to say my favorites are Faithfully, Open Arms, Send Her My Love. Another one is I'll Be Alright Without You, referring to my ex-husband cheating on me. That's been almost 9 years now, and yes, I did do alright without him. So much so I have lost 50 pounds listening to Journey and walking to their music. Journey rocks and always will. Although SP rocks more. LOL

Faithfully, Open Arms, all their songs are terrific !! I have their CD in my CD player I listen to a lot and it's my daughters !!! She sings a lot of Journey at Karaoke and she wins a lot of the time !!!!
