What great band they were.
When I think of all the songs they recorded, The Rain Song, Immigrant Song and When the Levy breaks for example...
it really shows proof.

To be honest it is way too difficult for me to say one band is THE GREATEST because I always go listen to another band and discover things about them that are brilliant and its just too hard to compare.
Definitely though.. pretty up there.
And one of my favorites.

One of the Greatest. I have to agree with the comment about the Doors and of course, you must not forget Rush and Creedence Clearwater Revival.

my opinion is they stink. I hate their music and listening to Robert Plant sing is like listening to nails across a chalkboard! FYI...they never had a number one song in America, that is fact, and even if they did, they still stink!
