1. Bon Jovi cuz they're still goin.
2. Has to be Freddie Mercury. So many strong hits esp. in the UK and he made that band. Couldn't have put anyone else in there and i HATE that they've been touring as queen with Paul Rodgers. Jeez! Page is a god, but Plant was the frontman. Ozzy's a fat old bastard. Jagger a close second, but all the stones had goods to back him up.
3. Both for different generations. Honestly Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters was the most talented member of Nirvana, but I can appreciate Cobain. I bought all their stuff.

1) Def Leppard - I think Bon Jovi was just living on his hair in the 80's
2) Freddie Mercury-Nothing against the other nominees but I think Freddie had both the voice and the charisma. I don't see how that could argued against. Page a front man? Shouldn't Plant be there instead? Jimmy Page is a guitarist who rarely sang as far as I know. Should be in different class.I'd put Plant in instead Mercury if he was a choice.
3) Jim Morrison - Second to none. Though I enjoy and listen to Nirvana a lot more. A lot more has been made of Morrison's legend in my opinion. On top of his legend is the fact that he had sex appeal that Cobain just doesn't have.

1. Like 'em both, I'll say Bon Jovi for staying power.
2. Love Ozzy, but cant understand what the hell he is saying, so I'll go for Freddie.
3. Morrison, who is copied to this day and is still being talked about as influential.

Bon jovi are a true stadium band and I have seen them several times so I choose jovi.....

It has to be the one and only Mr Freddie Mercury the guy ooozed charisma, talent and sheer ballsy gutsy determination all through his life, just look at the last Queen video when he was dying to see what a great man he was.

Jim Morrison could eat cobain for breakfast and still have some left over for dinner, he had more talent in his little finger than cobain so Mr Morrison it is then and oh hes not dead hes a very successful greengrocer now.

Jon Bon Jovi definitely, Freddie Mercury, absolutely awesome front man. Jim Morrison the man was a legend. Better To Burn Out Than Fade Away. PS Oasis can't even get close to the Beatles, easy question, can you name all the members of Oasis. Excellent question Alberto.

tricky.
1) for me - early Def Leppard (up to and including Pyromania) - after that too polished and samey - in fact too similar to poodle-rock bon jovi
2) mick jagger for his uniqueness, especially pre-80's. Ozzy was great in Sabbath and first two solo albums but since Randy Rhodes died - awful. Freddie Mercury was a fantastic performer but became a parody/pastiche towards the end
3) most legendary is morrison for me, although cobain touched more people, but this was probably due to the general state of music at the time of nirvana; the doors had far more competition
