Well if you want something like that, read a bit. Some of the greatest bands have found names from books. Or just the most random things. If you want something romantic and mystic take a word and play around with it, make it your own. Sooner or later you'll get something.

That is the question that has been plaguing rock and roll and metal bands for years now. We've run out of names! All the Goth,Greek,Roman,Myth,ancient names are taken.Unless you are real good and happen on to something. Good luck. We've been looking for the past nine months for a good name for a rock/blues band (mine),and metal/screamer band for my son.I hope you come across something and if and when you do put a patent name on it so nobody can still your name and logo . So when you make it big the name is yours and somebody won't walk off with your name.

'Iona'........... One word - so simple......... as far as the 'mystical/romance' side of it is concerned - Iona is otherwise known as the 'holy' Isle - it's off the west coast of Scotland and is hauntingly beautiful & you couldn't get any more 'atmospheric' a place - it's not just the 'old' religion there, it's new-age too - a truely unique place....so surely a truely unique name for a band(?)......... I think it would be a wonderful name - I would choose it anyway :) :)
Good luck with 'finding' a name, but most importantly with your future success.......... have a star for 'luck'

Don't ask us for band names. Band names are a reflection of yourselves, you can't just have someone just say one for you. Every single thing in music, to the smallest detail is about creativity. Your not being creative if you ask us for names. You know yourselves, so come up with something that reflects you and your music.
