I was puking a little as I wrote this. It was hard to write this. This question was my friend's idea (I dunno how we're friends cuz we don't really like the same things). Anyway, I don't think there are any bands, maybe just a few, that you can compare with Led Zep. Obviously I pick Led Zep.

Who sings that hard rock song from the 80's? I know what you need but I ain't got the clues. One phrase they throw in there though is: Don't tell me you love me... Don't tell me you love me... - Man if I could tell you the lyrics dude you would know. It’s a song I absolutely loved that came out, I think, during the Lover Boy era. HELP

I'm mostly skeptical of recorded albums before the mid-eighties, but I've always enjoyed prog rock related records. I have a lot of the Pink Floyd catalogue, I have 2112 and Moving Pictures from Rush, and I have Red and Three of a Perfect Pair from King Crimson. Where do I go from here? What albums from Rush and King Crimson should I check out for more experimental hard rock/metal/rock tunes? What other bands should I check out on the more inventive and groundbreaking tip?

It's an older song with an acoustic/"chick-rock" feel. Goes something like: I left my concience like a crying child... All I know sorry. It was in that movie Here on Earth with Lili Sobieski and Josh Hartnett where she has cancer and she has to choose which guy she loves. Anyhoo, just would like to know. Thnx!

I just got a $50 gift certificate from Amazon and I would like to pick up some new tunes. Is there anything you feel I need to hear? I have no idea what to get, so any and all suggestions are appreciated! :)

I am making a video of pictures of a summer cottage on a lake that has held lots of memories and good times for a family and their friends for 25 years. Can you suggest some songs for background music? I am especially looking for songs about:

A special place
Summer
Autumn
Vacation
Good times
Family
Lakes
The country

They can be any genre, but I'd especially like songs from the 60s, 70s, or 80s.

I'm looking for the artist/name of the song that I hear on classic rock stations both in AZ and in AR. It's an older song-probably from the 70's-that is completely instrumental. The most prevalent thing in it is the rock organ in the background. It's not "Fire on Ice" by ELO. Any ideas??

Tell us a song(s) that you like by an artist or group whose music you normally don't care for. It doesn't necessarily have to be a singer or band that you absolutely hate. The song doesn't need to be one of your all time favorites either.

One of the songs I like that fits this description would be "Truckin'" by the Grateful Dead.

Why isn't it on CD? I used to have the 8-track version (don't laugh). It had a brown cover and had all their love songs including "All My Loving" which is impossible to find anywhere anymore.

Chris said he would make make a full-fledged rock album, not a pop album. But out of his 5 singles, 3 have been released to pop radio and only 2 have been released to rock radio. On his cd, the rock certainly rules over the pop, but...come on! He's just trying to get more fame and outstanding album sales by crossing over into pop! He's backstabbing his fans IMO! He's a fake, don't ya think?

Ike and Tina's or CCR. Personally, I prefer CCR, it makes me think of an old south river town. Ike and Tina's is good but all I think of is a flashy dance, hair, legs and glitter.
