Chris said he would make make a full-fledged rock album, not a pop album. But out of his 5 singles, 3 have been released to pop radio and only 2 have been released to rock radio. On his cd, the rock certainly rules over the pop, but...come on! He's just trying to get more fame and outstanding album sales by crossing over into pop! He's backstabbing his fans IMO! He's a fake, don't ya think?

Pah, anyone who needs American Idol to get a shot at stardom clearly isn't good enough to be discovered on their own.

well no I don't think he is fake. His music is on current top pop/rock/hip-hop stations. IDK where you are from, but theres not just a current "rock" radio station anymore, cuz there's not enough rock music to do that unless its an oldie classic rock station. Get a grip! He doesn't have anything to do with who's playing the cd anyway and why would he care? Its gone triple platinum, Hmmm, must not be too popular, eh??He didnt backstab his fans, more like a fan is backstabbing him!

in my opinion, everyone on american idol is.

if someone had real talent, they wouldn't need a stupid talent show to prove it. theyd work their *** off and get discovered and signed on their own, without that show.
have zeppelin or the beatles ever been in a talent show?
no, they were good enough to get famous on their own.

which is why I don't consider anyone on that show a "star"
(no offence)

they just want a shot at fame, money, and popularity. not at really being into the music.

just because a few of his songs made it to top 40 doesn't make him less rock or fake. Him, Fantasia and Carrie were the best of American Idol IMO.

But it's not his fault those few made it to the radio. "What I want" is pretty kick *** and to get Slash to work with you is something IMO.

Now if you want to talk about fake, look at Kelly Clarkson. She plain sucks.

We're all fakes, by the way.

He's in the music business, and the aim of that business is to sell as many CDs and downloads to as many people as possible.

I don't listen to him.

Well I can't stand him. He lipsynched when I went to see him. He doesn't even cooperate with the audience. I think he's gay, him and him emo eye-liner. American Idol is dumb!

No, I do not agree. He is not a fake. I think he's extremely talented.
