I was puking a little as I wrote this. It was hard to write this. This question was my friend's idea (I dunno how we're friends cuz we don't really like the same things). Anyway, I don't think there are any bands, maybe just a few, that you can compare with Led Zep. Obviously I pick Led Zep.

How could you even begin to compare...Led Zeppelin are one of the greatest bands ever to play...MCR are make-up wearing, "feel sorry for me" emo losers. I have not heard one song that I liked or could understand from them...ZEPPELIN ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I'm A Big Fan Of Both Led Zeppelin And My Chemical Romance But It's Indisputable That Led Zeppelin Was A Far Better Band In Their Time Than MCR Are Today. I Agree With You That Very Few Bands Can Even Be Compared To Led Zep, Least Of All Modern Day Pop Punk Groups. It Was Primarily The Likes Of Led Zeppelin Who Influenced Most Most Modern Rock Music And So MCR And Other Bands Like Them Wouldn't Sound They Way They Do If It Wasn't For The Hard Rock Bands Of The 70's. At The Same Time, I Enjoy Listening To MCR's Music And Can Appreciate That They Have Done Well For Themselves But They Just Don't Have Anywhere Near The Standard Of Talent Set By Led Zeppelin. Yeh I don't feel you could compare Led Zeppelin and My Chemical Romance.
Firstly, Led Zeppelin were in a different time, you can't compare bands from different eras that easily as music has changed to such a great extent.
Secondly, Led have so many great songs, now I'm not saying that My Chemical Romance haven't got good songs, but Led were around for years and in their time produced a large number of great songs...(granted some fans prefer their earlier stuff to their later songs).
Personally I'm a fan of both, but I feel Led has more songs that I like....but overall a comparison is difficult.

How do you possibly compare the two? Led Zeppelin were innovators, they were four of the greatest musicians who ever lived. Jimmy Page's mood, charisma and versitility on guitar, John Bonham's power and timing, John Paul Jones' musical sense and Robert Plant's unique, beautiful voice with great lyrics. They combined folk, blues, 50's rock and r&b and turned the volume up to ten. My Chemical Romance can barely play and are image based. Some people perfer MCR, but using my ears and my knowledge, I don't know how you compare the two.

Oh please. I in basic terms examine someplace on the 'internet that Panic on the Disco thinkd they're the subsequent Radiohead. Now MCR thinks they're greater advantageous than Zepplin? All i will say to you my chum, is have not got self belief each thing you examine.
