This generation of music can be skanky! When back then, songs like, "Yellow Submarine"(Beatles), and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough(Diana Ross) were peaceful. Now we have some pretty stupid(and some skanky songs). Why can't we like those preteen songs like "I Got Nerve"(Hannah Montana) and "Start of Something New"(High School Musical)? They aren't skanky or that stupid...

the song has like a ragtime piano sound to it

in the late 80's or sometime in the 90's I remember watching a show like the new mickey mouse club or kids incorporated or some show like that and there was a teenage singing group, I remember a guy and a girl and maybe others, I remember the girl singing the song, "I know what boy's like" anyone know the group I am talking about?

I heard from a friend that "The Boys of Summer" cover by The Ataris was actually a throw-away album filler, and that they never ever expected it to be their first hit. My friend also said that they were glad it got their name out to the public, but they were sort of disappointed that their first big hit was a cover, and not an original song.

I was just wondering if any big Ataris fans can tell me if that is accurate or not.

It has a lot of parts from the song but its not the remix version thats on the album. ( the parts it has in it are atleast the chorus from what I remember maybe the whole song) with a different beat and like sounds during the chorus.
