I have Sirius satelite radio without the lcd panel to read what band is playing at the time. I heard a song by a band possibly named "Fair To Midline". I am not sure about the spelling. I have done many band searches on the internet and cannot find anyone with this name. I do know they are under Surges (from System of a Down) record label. There is also a band with a song about a girl who loves cocain. But I don't know who sings this either. Might be a band called Stratus or Stratavision. They were both played on Octane channel 20 on Sirius. Any takers on this one?

The FIRST techno was made in DETROIT by a AFRICAN AMERICAN group call the The Belleville Three. They were considered "FIRST WAVE". Larry Levan and Frankie Knuckles were VERY IMPORTANT to the techno or afro-futurism movement. Techno is based of ELECTRO, Chicago House and Ska. Electro is made from ska, reggae, pop, punk. Funk is made from Soul. SO, WITH ALL THAT, WHy do people say the Europeans invented Techno?
Is this HISTORY APPROPRIATION?

It's got a techno type beat. The chorus is a female sung "I see you." Repeated quite frequently. Then there's also a part where she sings "I see you (clearly now)."

Me and my friend are music producers for various styles. Our music is starting to get noticed, and I trying to figure out how to structure the company name. I know that when u form a joint venture/parternship, you can be personally liable for lawsuits, and an LLC u dont. But I have seen record labels that dont have LLC behind their name and I know their attorneys have more sense than to make them personally liable.

So I trying to figure out what steps to take to form the company/record label/etc. any advice on links, websites, reading materials or just any personal advice would be great.
