I'm not willing to break the bank on this one, but I'm looking for a quality twelve string acoustic with pickups that has a great sound, dosen't wear easily, and I won't have to put it on layaway. Any ideas would be great, but I'd like to keep this under or around 300 bucks. This is purely for entertainment purposes and I might end up playing with it live one or two songs a night.

My bass amp is crackling at high volumes, and I've found what seems to be the problem, but I'm not sure how to fix it. I pulled the amplifier out of the cabinet and played a few notes at high volume and then pressed one of the black cylinders in the middle and the crackling ceased. If anyone knows what these parts are and how to replace them, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

It sounds alot like something Reo Speedwagon would sing. It has very high vocals. I heard it at a bar and motor ride was the only thing I could remember. I'm not even sure if that is the right words but it sounds like that. I would love to figure this out so I can download the song.

I just watched the clip from "Almost Famous" where the entire bus starts singing Tiny Dancer by Elton John, which is a good example of a good car sing along song...
Can anyone think of other songs like tiny dancer that really gets the whole car into singing the song that is playing?
