I dont quite understand did eric clapton sing it, or did jimmie hendrix sing it, or did they sing 2 different songs named cocaine?

In1977 JJ Cale did a song called Cocaine that was redone by Eric Clapton. He added stuff and made it much more popular.

I never heard Jimi do it, but i bet it would be awesome.

I def. know Eric Clapton has a song Cocaine. Yeah never heard the Hendrix version.

theres no Cocaine song on any Hendrix album I happen to have. Eric Clapton has a very famous 70's song titled "Cocaine"

Never heard of a Hendrix version. Clapton wrote and performed it originally.

Hendrix never covered "Cocaine".
Clapton made it famous, but it was written by J.J.Cale, one of Clapton's heroes.

Hendrix never did a song like that, I'm sure of it. Clapton's song though, is genius.
