A long time ago I did some piano playing, since then I have dived into choral work. However, I basically forgot how to play the piano. I know where Middle C is but if the song is in the key of F where do I start on the keyboard to punch through the song? I get the basics, but I don't really know where to start.

For a song, there are the lyrics and the music, which as far as I know, are recorded separately sometimes. Usually, only the music is used for karaoke. So, if I'd like to hear a popular song, but without it's lyrics, how do I call it? Demo, negative, or what?

I do it all the time, actually got used to it, but my parents don't think it's a very good idea.. It has not affected my test results.. I mostly listen to Rock music (soft and hard)
