The Doors, because their music had so much depth, it's almost unreal. Have you ever listened to the lyrics that Jim Morrison and Robby Krieger came up with together? Absolutely amazing! The vocals are wonderfull, also.
If you have never heard them, I suggest you go have a listen! =]

Linkin Park. I relate a lot with their songs, and whenever I'm having a bad day I can listen to their songs and just get that "you're not the only one who's been there" feeling from their songs. Their songs inspire me to do more constructive things like writing or drawing when I'm upset, instead of some other things I used to do when I was younger that weren't so good...

the Red Hot Chili Peppers incredible musicians and anthony kiedis is an amazing song writter...theve been around so long yet there stuff is incredibly amazing

Dee Snyder and Alice Cooper...
not simply because they rock, (Alice Cooper more than Dee)
but because they're both very intelligent,
both testifying before Congress on censorship issues.
and as I recall Alice made quite a convincing argument.

Currently I like Paramore because the lead singer has a great voice and I love their songs.
I also love Meg & Dia because they are amazing and very talented.

JUDAS PRIEST.
I love METAL and, while I started out listening to BLACK SABBATH, like all the other kids of My generation, JUDAS PRIEST just, knocked Me off My feet when, I first heard them. their music was just so much more blue collar or, working class. I could really relate to it a lot more.

they are incredible live, saw them 10+ times, they are dark and mysterious, intelligent and complex, always leaving you wanting more. best drummer of all time in my opinion.

My Chemical Romance, Catchy, Deep, fun, dark. they make you feel something when you listen to thier songs. deffinately helped me! thier amazing all around!
