That was THE PARTY, they were a good band, well back in the day. Tiffani Hale sung that song orginally sung by the Waitresses.

The Party was an American pop band. The group members were Albert Fields, Tiffini Hale, Chase Hampton, Deedee Magno, and Damon Pampolina. They were all cast members of The All New Mickey Mouse Club.

[edit] History

In 1990 the Disney Channel formed a pop band by selecting current cast members of The All New Mickey Mouse Club. As part of the promotion for this new band, a "name the band" contest was held. The result was "The Party", which is an acronym for "Positive Attitude Reflecting Today's Youth."[citation needed]

Their debut, self-titled album was released in August 1990 on Hollywood Records. The first single, "Summer Vacation" saw moderate success, peaking at #72 on the Billboard Hot 100. The following singles "I Found Love" and "That's Why" peaked at #79 and #55, respectively. The album also charted at #116 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart. During this time the Disney Channel produced a special, "The Party: In Concert." Their success landed them opening act spots on major concert tours with the likes of Taylor Dayne and Vanilla Ice.

In 1991 the covers and remixes EP In The Meantime, In Between Time was released. The cover of the Dokken song "In My Dreams" ended up being the band's biggest hit on the charts, peaking at #34 on the Billboard Hot 100. In My Dreams would land the group an appearance on Club MTV, a return to the MMC, another Disney Channel special entitled, "Go Party!" and another concert tour opening for Hi-Five.

1992's release, Free, showed the band's sound changing. Teddy Riley wrote 3 songs for this album including the New Jack Swing-tinged title song, "Free." Dr. Dre produced the song "Let's Get Right Down To It." This album would once again land them another concert tour opening spot with Color Me Badd and their last special for the Disney Channel, "All About The Party, however, the album was not as successful on the charts as previous ones, perhaps signaling the beginning of the end for them.

In 1993 Hollywood Records released The Party's Over...Thanks For Coming with little advance notice. This farewell album consisted of outtakes from the Free recording sessions.

that is simply by fact a lot of people think of that 'going scene' is the marvelous style of conforming, and that with the aid of being scene you're particularly merely advertising out so which you will fit in, and not being your very own guy or woman. i'm not agreeing with those people...i understand from adventure that for lots of scene teenagers, they do it simply by fact they're involved in the lifestyles-style, not simply by fact they elect to slot in. dress the style you desire to dress, pay attention to the music you like, bypass to scene shows, have exciting....yet do not lose your individuality in the approach.
