been fighting back and forth with our steel player CARL...ok, this is what's going on, me and the rest of the band would like to put some of our SHOWS ON YOUTUBE, CARL say's that's like "PLAYING FOR FREE"???ok, carl is SOOOOO OLD SCHOOL, more so than me, and i'm tryin to tell this goof ball that $ ISN'T EVERYTHING!!! sometimes it's fun just to be SEEN-HEARD and ENJOYED! over the summer i went to leann rimes concert..well she came to this small fair..and i got to go back and meet her because my dads a cop and his friends who were in charge of it let us see her..well she signed a CD for me and also signed a pic of me and her!..how much would that go for...ID NEVER SELL IT THOUGH!!! just curious!

I am watching a reairing of the CMA's and they just preformed. I think they are great and put on an awesome show. There's always a preformer or a group in every music genera that always steps outside the box and does something different then the others, which is great. I think in country, Big and Rich are this.

Do any of you have any memorabilia from country legends that you have received from the greats in country music? I have many photos, a zippo lighter, some caps and tee shirts, records and CD's as well as autographs. One of my favorite things was a cap given to me by Merle Haggard a few years back. I went to eat breakfast at a local restaurant and when I went to the men's room I came back to find someone had stolen my cap from the table where I had laid it down. I sure got awfullly angry about that and have still not forgotten it. The person who took it should have gotten life in prison for doing that. Someday hopefully I will get another one. Thanks in advance for sharing your stories.

I want to take this time to give my thanks to all veterans and current military personnel who have given so much to protect us and our freedoms. It is not an easy job but one that must be done. I was a Navy Corpsman serving with the U. S Marines when I was in the service. The marines are a tough bunch of folks and I am proud to have served with them. All branches of our military are to be commended for the job that they do.I met alot of nice people while in the service and lost a lot of great friends as well. What is one country song that makes your heart swell with pride when you hear it because it is patriotic and salutes our great men and women of the military ?

I just recently bought the CD "Wagonmaster" by the late Porter Wagoner. One can hear in Porter's voice that he has trouble singing the way he used to but to me the finished product is priceless. The bonus track has him singing " Men With Broken Hearts" and telling of his meeting with Hank Williams. Porter is accompanied by Marty Stuart's guitar. This is a lovely CD by Porter. Do any of you others have it or have you heard it. If so what do you think of the effort by Marty Stuart to get Porter on a final CD that we can all enjoy? RIP Porter

My boyfriend was recently on a tangent that modern country music is unbearable. That most do not even write their own music, sing horribly cliche songs, and play instruments unsatisfactorily. He said there are only a few new singers he has respect for.

I do not think it all is that bad and I feel it is tolerable. I even like some of the songs.

We both agree that most old country is good. He thinks country should go back to its roots. I think change is okay. What do you think?

So I think it is called Dont tell me as she says it a lot but its not Pam Tillis
