Enjoying all their music and hearing the song "My Home's In Alabama" which I thought was great.

I almost got to meet them in Nashville one day - but they were in a recording session and they could not come out. But I did get a message to them and they were good enough to send a signed photograph and a belt buckle to my hotel.

I still have the buckle to this day!

The old "Alabama Music Park" in Calera Alabama,
.
The group Alabama was performing and I had my first date with the girl that became my wife.
But during the concert the group went into a version of the "Wild Wood Flower"
where Jeff-Randy-Teddy Stood back to front and strumed each others Guitars during the song.
Then on Saturday 6-11-83 My wife to be(got married the 15th of June) were at the June Jame at Fort Payne Alabama and the band congradulated us on our inpending wedding.Note here is that she and I got a very Healthy sunburn that Saturday prior to our wedding.

i'm a large fan of Alabama. of their glory days they have been waiting to place out songs that reached the regularly occurring working classification Joe (or Josephine as a results of fact the case could be). I enjoyed the video for " 40 Hour Week" yet my all time fav replaced into "in case you're Gonna Play in Texas" enjoyed that mess around solo!!!!

My Fondest memory of Alabama is they quit singing and I wish the radio stations that still play their music knew it!

I saw the Eagles twice in the 70s, so I never saw the need to deal with their clone band, Alabama.
