How do you feel about Taylor Swift? She annoys me quite a bit, but I keep seeing TONS of questions about her, and I would like to know your opinions.

mcdannells, I know what real country is. Pay a little more attention to what you're reading- I never said she's the real thing. I asked what fans of the real deal think about her.

to be completely honest. i cant stand her. i don't think she's that great of a singer. every song is about some boy she liked, and she's what 17/18? how many boys has she liked, and what does she know about love, really? And here's my thing, i can't stand rascal flatts either, BUT i do think they have talent, the only reason i can't stand them is because they aren't country, if they would just say they are pop i wouldn't have a problem with them. Taylor Swift on the other hand I don't think has talent at all. Her songs annoy me, her hair annoys me, and her sundresses w/ cowboy boots really annoy me!!

Taylor is a very talented young lady! My sixteen year old niece adores her. It just so happens she's in the wrong genre. If there were still a pop category, she would belong there. But, since many pop artist have merged with country, she's done likewise. I wish her well, but it's highly unlikely I'll be buying her Cd's for myself. Now, as for my niece? Well, that's another story.

Think she's just one of those fly by night kind of things. don't care for her and don't plan on listening to her.
Now some of the other new ones aint so bad.
Kellie Pickler has shown some promise, with Idol and her hit I Wonder and Red High Heels.
Carrie Underwood aint too bad either with BEfore He Cheats and Jesus Take The Wheel..
That Josh Turner aint done too bad with Long Black Train and Your Man and Will You Go with Me.

i dont really believe she is country, but i dont think anybody really knows what country music actually is anymore...we've gone from the great Hank Williams Sr.,George Jones,and Patsy Cline to Taylor Swift,Miranda Lambert,and Brad Paisley.

You really don't wanna know my opinion. I would wind up getting another Violation. but I will say she is not country and should think about crossing over to Pop. I feel she would do a lot better in that category.

I'm not a big fan. To me, her music seems more pop than country. She's on the radio a lot, so I get burned out quickly. Just my opinion!
