I am watching a reairing of the CMA's and they just preformed. I think they are great and put on an awesome show. There's always a preformer or a group in every music genera that always steps outside the box and does something different then the others, which is great. I think in country, Big and Rich are this.

Wayne: I love all music and country. I have everything on my MP3 player from John Denver to Metallica, real punk rock to Micheal Bolton and a bunch of catchy R&B songs. No music is crap. It's just all in how you relate to it at the moment.

I like all sorts of music, and I love Big & Rich. They're not traditional sounding country, but who is these days? As far as I'm concerned, their best songs haven't been released as singles. To address the issue of "they're too rock," I'd rather listen to a band that's a country/rock combination instead of somebody that should be pop, but wants to wear a goofy looking frat-boy cowboy hat, and just CALL himself country.

music has to evolve, I love the old stuff I grew up with, but there's a lot of good in the new also. B&R are okay, a bit flashy & sort of arrogant, but so are many going all the way back. Time always tells if they have the 'right stuff', that's why even some of the beloved 'old-style' singers/bands were one-hit wonders. So far so good for me with B&R.

This question is for country lovers, eh? Well, I am that! Big and Rich don't actually sing country music but I have listened to their songs, which are frequently played on supposed country radio stations. I have to say that I'm not a fan of them at all.

Like many other groups that call themselves country, they aren't much different than rock n roll and then not even good. Most haven't earned the right to be called 'Country' music. When enough of us realize what's being shoved down our throats and quit buying their crap, maybe that will get the message across.Who ever knew of a 'country' singer that wore a Doo rag(no names mentioned there). Wayne got it right

I love B&R, and "Loud" was a really good song....but it's not country. B&R are really awesome though, because like you said, they do many different genre's and they are good at every one they do! I think it's great that they can go from songs like "The 8th of November" and "Lost In This Moment" to
"Loud" and "Rollin" and they ROCK at it!!! I LOVE B&R....but George Strait Is WAAAAAY better....he keeps it country!

I DO like most of their music although I think they are a little off-the-wall! But, that's okay, too.... anyway, anyone who likes John Denver is totally cool in my bookso... you go!!!! John was an incredible singer, songwriter, environmentalist, human being. I loved him and will always miss him.

I'll agree with Hag, they are not country, More like Pop. Some of their stuff is ok. But a lot of it is way too loud. Now I will say John Rich is a good song writer.
