Not soft rock, because that's the pop/rock combination. I mean chill music, like Pink Floyd, some of Led Zeppelin, etc. etc. Stuff that isn't all screaming and shrieking guitars.

Twelve songs, in order, January to December please. If you can name the bands/artists that wrote the songs too, that'd be great.

When asked, a lot of bands credit the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and other bands from the Sixties & Seventies as their biggest musical influences. However, you don't hear as many bands doing the same for bands from the Eighties & Nineties. So, who are some of the most influential bands during these two decades, and what bands do you think they influenced? Bands that come to mind for me are R.E.M., U2, Duran Duran, Green Day, and the Cure.

Let me know what your thoughts are on this. Thanks!

I was born outta Mora, Missouri wrote a song about the life of my cousin who was a N.A.A HAll of famer R. Simms.I later had the lead roll in a film "What am I bid" as a country music performer. In my 50 + years in the buisness I have recorded some 500 songs, with a dozen of them making the charts. In 1994 I had my biggest country single of all time, based on sales. It stayed at number one for nineteen weeks, and in all, charted for 42 weeks.

Who am I and what was my biggest seller?

There is a song probably back from the 70's and I'm looking for the song and the artist name. Here's a part of it:

"Young stuff, you're turning me on, but tomorrow you'll be gone. You bring memories I miss, young stuff I can't resist."

Google came up with nothing, but I hope I'll get a result here. Thanks in advance.
