I've listened to it, and it's definitely a studio recording. Was it ever officially released? I heard it was LP only, but I've never actually seen any proof.

I am looking for the Flogging Molly song about Charlie Mopps. It goes . . . A long came a man by the name of charlie mopps, he invented the wonderful drink and made it out of hopps. . . . . They're huge everywhere else in the world but can hardly get airplay here. Their new album is amazing, and more importantly, different than their stuff in the past. Still, nothing.

Their rock is amazing, their alternative is amazing, and now their pop is amazing... but everyone still wants to listen to crap rhianna, 50 cent, nickelback and maroon 5. What is wrong with the United State's taste in music????

I just watched Hard Days Night, a wonderful tribute to the Beatles, their early songs, so innocennt clean cut and fresh. Then I watched Yellow Submarine and almost had a seizure...I'm wondering for those that were there - were the Beatles viewed as a legendary band back then? What did you think of Lucy In Sky and other trippy songs when you first heard them? I mean now, we can look and admire them for their genious and innovation, but back then did you see them going from straight and narrow to completely weird?

Not necessarily your two favorite tracks, though it does often work out that way, but for someone who has never heard that band that you would like to introduce to their music. If it is different, which tracks are your favorites?

I know it can depend on the audience (I know it would quite possibly effect my answer), but just go with your general listener.

I went with two tracks because that's usually my initial test for a band. I figure if two tracks hand picked by a fan won't at least get me intrigued to hear more than I probably won't be into it.

why has rap changed its message?

when it started out, people rapped about their problems in order to change society, or inform others about the problems they faced growing up in a bad neighborhood..

Now rap is all about "pimping" "hos" and $$$$$..??

Do you think this diminishes its effectiveness or the effectiveness of those using rap as a medium for social change?
