It sounds like an old cell phone ringing, and I don't remember it being there a long time ago.

I always thought it sounded like that hand-held Mattel Football game, with red blips for the players and ball.

It could just as easily be from an old videogame. Various "beeps" and "boops" like that were about the extent of the sounds in videogames from that era.

I believe it's Mick Jones's watch going off (on purpose or not, I have no clue)
I remember reading it somewhere. It always bugs me, cause I think my cells phone's ringing, but when I answer it there's no one there
