I can "handle" your Handel question. . .

Handel set to work composing on August 22 in his little house on Brook Street in London. He grew absorbed in the work that he rarely left his room, hardly stopping to eat. Within six days part one was complete. In nine days more he had finished part two, and in another six, part three. The orchestration was completed in another two days. In all 260 pages of manuscript were filled in the remarkable short time of 24 days.

PART THE FIRST
Old Testament Promises of The Coming Messiah (1-12)
The Birth of Messiah (13-17)
Messiah's Invitation To The People (18-21)

PART THE SECOND
Sacrificial Mission Of The Messiah (22-26)
Rejection of Messiah By The Jews (27-28)
Crucifixion Of The Messiah (29-31)
Resurrection Of The Messiah (32-33)
Ascension Of Messiah To Glory (34-36)
Proclamation Of The Gospel By The Disciples (37-39)
Disciplining Of The Nations At The Second Advent of Messiah (40-44)

PART THE THIRD
The Hope of The Redeemed (45-54)
The Confidence Of The Redeemed (55)
Final Triumph Of Messiah (56-57)

the titles given by jurydoc are headings for the bible texts from which the lyrics are taken - the arias, recitatives and choruses are usually referred to by their first line. Just get hold of a score and it should give these titles on a contents page.

My favourites are 'Let us Break Their Bonds Asunder', 'The Trumpet Shall Sound' and the final chorus, 'Amen'

Also, the correct title is just 'Messiah' not 'The Messiah'

In the summer of 1741 Handel, at the peak of his musical prowess but depressed and in debt, began setting Charles Jennens' Biblical libretto to music at his usual breakneck speed. In just 24 days, Messiah was complete.
