if you do, i'm trying to find some new bands i might like so i can add them to my ipod. i listen to: korn, disturbed, system of a down, ramstein, shinedown, 3 days grace and mudvane. if you listen to those, gimme ur favorite songs from them or gimme some bands like them. plz!! open for suggestions. thanx!! :)

My mother is very ill and does not have much time left. I am doing a picture video and need a song. I know...use a song from the heart or one she liked. But I can't, don't have one cause I listen to very hard metal and she liked country, when she listened to music. (sorry if that made no sense). I don't want to use one that is too sad and the old school country is best. She was a fun and outgoing woman that used to enjoy bars and family get togethers. I feel crazy for asking something like this about something so personal. But I am just looking for some ideas because I am driving myself mad over this, and want the video to be perfect, since it will be played at her funeral and extra copies will be given to her brother and sisters. So if you could give me some old school country songs that might work, I can get ideas from that or find one that fits her? Thanks

I've read alot lately from from women on here saying how bad rap videos are, and that they depict woman in a negative manner..Basically saying rappers need to clean up their lyrics, videos, etc..Now Im not saying all females in general think this, but the people on here talking about it..Im not here just to argue whatever you say, but I want to know your stance on women and rap music? State who you think is to blame for presentation of women by some rappers, and why you think women are presented in a negative manner? Anything else you wanna add feel free..All opinions welcome

now this is what i think: One, I think some females need to realize all rappers do not talk about the same thing, dont penalize all rappers just for some lyrics by the everyday radio artists..If you dont consider yourself to be a b**** or a hoe, why are you offended by the lyrics? If you dont dress half-naked, why do you care? Those are just some of the questions I have for you all..

i dont understand why everyone is like on the emo bandwagon. there are about a handful of semi-tolerable emo bands but most of them are too concerned with how tight they can wear their jeans. i also dont get why people like fall out boy. eww. they sold out. like seriously SOLD OUT. music is deteriorated today to a point where most artists are more concerned with their looks rather than the message. lol. i love screamo though so long as its not mindless crap their screaming. so i would like to know why people listen to emo. its so depressing. is it just so they can get the swoop?
