Four year olds should be listening to kids songs like "This Old Man, "Old McDonald Had A Farm" or songs by Tom Chapin or Raffi. If you're looking from something more contemporary how about some songs from the current Disney or other kid friendly movies?

Music is very important in a child's creative development. Listening to music at her age means being exposed to rhythm and poetry for the first time. The first songs she 's exposed to should be positive happy ones that she can sing and dance along with.

Your niece (IMO) should not be delibearately exposed to the mature themes of some of the songs you've listed. Even if you can find the "censored" versions,. the sexual innuendos and other adult subject matter still come through.

Your niece will go up fast enough as it is. Let her be a kid. for awhile. She's four not fourteen!

I know I probably sound old fashioned but I'm willing to bet you could find a lot of more appropriate children's songs that your niece will enjoy. The nice thing is that you won't need to worry about bleeping out any objectionable parts.

You should be putting Slayer, Megadeth, Cradle Of Filth, and some Deicide on the CD.
