whats the best way to actually become decent and be good enough to play at parties??i know youwill say practice but is there any good books that would help with all the stuff on the mixer and so on...???thanks

I recently downloaded about ten songs from the Itunes store and burned them to CDRW. The CD plays fine on my computer, but won't play in my CD player. The CD was burned in audio format. I erased it and then tried burning it in data format and that didn't work, either. What do I need to do to get my CD to play on a regular CD player?
