now why don't you like rock?(this is directed towards rap-lovers)

i guess it's the media..
they play more mainstream stuff that is good sounding..
or that has steamy music videos, to attract more people..
if they play more rock or metal, people will try to adapt to it,
just like the early years *i guessed* when hiphop/rnb culture
is just starting..
like here in my country malaysia, tv programmes, commercials are using stuffs from the mainstream.. so there will never be metal/heavy rock in the media system..
but we as a rocker im glad because the kind of music were not mainstream enough.. its esoteric, only some kind of people only listen to these kind of music, it s kind of special..
what do you think? haha..

I like rap but I also like rock.
I actually talked to one of my friends the other day
he doesn't like rock at all because
"the rockers are screaming for love and hugs"
meaning that all the songs are just about love and having a bad life
and that it's soo loud.
i guess it's true but then again majority of the songs out there are about love and having a bad life. the rock sings about it in a loud way. but i still enjoy it.

Just because you like it doesn't mean everyone else will.
I could ask "Why doesn't everyone like rap?"
Ans.Because we're not all the same. Some people like alternative rock, some classic rock, and some Screamo. That's not anyone's fault.

I think alot of people still like rock. It's just that there are many other styles of music and rock doesn't dominate the popular music market like it used to.

i love classic rock! i think a lot of it has to do with this whole new era and the way people are raised! everyone has different tastes! Rock rules!

Because they're stupid and just follow trends. They don't think for themselves... better yet, they don't think.... lol.
