Anyone have personal experience with this effect? Maybe a place around Chicago where I could actually try it out? Guitar Center won't stock it unless I put money down...

I'm not saying I like his music- but what did he do so bad that now he is broke, and can't even put out a CD? Does anyone know the real reason as to why he tanked?

I wouldn't call myself a metal head, but I do enjoy hard rock sometimes - or good music for that matter, regardless of the genre/ label. I just picked up Leaves Eyes' Legend Land E.P. for a real steal ($15) and it suits my taste very well - kind of like Theatre of Tragedy, but much more European/ Celtic-sounding.

Anyway, I'd just like to hear from fans of Liv Kristine etc. and get some recommendations for this kind of music (is it gothic-symphonic metal?) - bands and albums. Beautiful female vocals are a must. And f.y.i., I do not generally like American-sounding metal. Thanks.

(Notes: this is not a music forum, so I'm not looking for critics. And f.y.i., I live in Asia, in an area that does not usually import exotic, non-mainstream CDs. I got Legend Land from Borders.)

im going to a concert this weekend and its rock/indie/alternative music and i want to know what are the chances of there being any mosh pits..has anyone ever died in a mosh pit do you get badly hurt have any of you been in one...?...thanks

I would have to say the most I've ever spent was on the 2004 Jagermeister tour, which Slayer headlined. In addition to the $30+ ticket and parking garage fee, I also spent money on a t-shirt and some food. It ended up being about $75 altogether.

Alright, so i have seen a recent commercial for a jewlery company.
I think it was Kays Jewlers.

BUT, I am in love with the song that they put on there.
I don't remember the lyrics.
but I think it says somthing about "thinking about you"
or somthing like that.

It is a song that comes on every night @ 12 am and they play part of it @ 12:30. The info only says Suite 62 but no artist or name of the song. It's been on for about a month!

I think the media has a negative affect on Rap music. They are offended by their apperance.So I think The media classify rappers as "Gangstas" because of their apperance. And What they rap about, half the rappers today may say they are gangsta, but they would not actually go out and do some of the stuff they speak on the microphone. Gangstas have no lives they have no record deal, but why do people say that the music industry is over ran by "gangstas"?
