I'm not saying I like his music- but what did he do so bad that now he is broke, and can't even put out a CD? Does anyone know the real reason as to why he tanked?

I think it would be great if he came back. I think people are being harsh to him since he had so much in the 1990's but then lost it somehow. Maybe by being too commercial or by being too stereotyped as the dude with the bling and the genie pants and no shirt. Because they only were in for like 6 months, but then the public punished him when he didn't adapt and think forward like Madonna. (She's pretty much a step ahead of everyone.)
I hope he does make a comeback. Maybe he can produce or something more behind the scenes and share a little bit like Quincy Jones.
I think Hammer made a lot of mistakes by being too generous with his money. Would you ever seen Madonna or Snoop Dog handing out money all over to his dancers? I THINK NOT.
